Overview

Elapsd is designed to be calm and minimal — including how it handles your data.

The app does not create accounts, does not include advertising, and does not use third-party analytics.

Website Data

This website is hosted on Netlify.

• Personal data: The website does not intentionally collect personal information for marketing or analytics purposes.
• Server logs: Netlify may collect standard server logs (such as IP addresses) as part of normal hosting operations.
• Contact form: If you contact me through the website, I receive the information you submit (such as name, email address, and message) so I can respond to your inquiry.

Contact messages are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond.

App Data

Elapsd stores the data you create in the app, including:

• Event names
• Categories
• Log entry timestamps
• Optional notes

This data is stored locally on your device.

If iCloud is enabled for your Apple Account and you are signed in, Elapsd syncs this data using Apple CloudKit. Data synced via CloudKit is stored in your private iCloud database and is not accessible to the developer.

Elapsd does not collect your data for its own use.

Analytics and Advertising

• The Elapsd application does not use analytics.
• The app does not include advertising.
• No data is sold or shared for tracking purposes.

Third Parties

• The website is hosted by Netlify.
• Contact form submissions are processed by Netlify Forms.
• App data may be synced via Apple CloudKit when enabled by the user.

Elapsd does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or external account systems.

Data Retention and Deletion

You control your data.

• App data remains on your device (and in your private iCloud account, if enabled) until you delete events or remove the app.
• You may delete the app at any time to remove locally stored data.
• iCloud data is managed under your Apple Account and subject to Apple’s iCloud policies.

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will be revised.
